About me

So I like beautiful things. Who doesn't? Anyway, I started this page to share a bit more about myself. It's pretty bare at the moment tho, so bear with me! (ah, sorry for that!)

When I'm not blogging beauty, I work in the publishing industry to pay my bills. Here are some blogs I've written in my working life. They are all language related and appear on Oxford Dictionaries' Oxford Words Blog (http://blog.oxforddictionaries.com/ or you can view all my articles here: http://blog.oxforddictionaries.com/author/ashley-wagner/)

I also like to bop around to music and sing karaoke, especially at home.

Previous projects and websites:

Umi's Shoppe
An online shoppe for anime/j-pop related goods that I ran while I was in school and a student. No longer open and running, but was hosted on Geocities until that went defunct, but Reocities has resurrected parts of the site, so you can access some of it, here:
http://www.reocities.com/rinoachan/umi/

Sakura's Clow Cards
A fan website devoted to Card Captor Sakura, also resurrected on Reocities here: http://www.reocities.com/Tokyo/Dojo/9291/

Mini Fan Site for Hyde (from Japanese Rock group L'Arc~en~ciel)
Gah, this one is kinda embarrassing, but I kinda also like it since it's a part of who I am. This feels like forever ago, and was back in the days when I actually did everything in HTML myself!
