Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Review and Swatch

Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion has a fairly big following already, and I know there are a lot of reviews out there already. I just wanted to say that it's my go-to eyeshadow base. I don't wear anything on my lids without putting this on first. 

I've been pretty lucky, as I've always been happy with this formula. Others have complained about the packaging. While the genie style bottle is very cute, it can make it difficult to get all the product out. And in response, Urban Decay has changed the packaging! Sadly my local Boots stopped carrying Urban Decay, so I didn't notice, but when I run out, I look forward to the new packaging. 

I love being able to apply my eye shadow and have it last all day long when I use this primer. If my eyeshadow doesn't last, I'm more likely to blame the eye shadow (as this *rarely* happens). Of course, I don't think in a very hot and humid environment, that could make a difference. 

Here's a swatch on the left, and on the right, blended into my skin. I do find it's a bit lighter on my eyelids than my natural skin there, but it still blends naturally. I know that these now come in a variety of colours, so you can even use this as a base.
